Brian Fuller, MD

Hip and Knee Replacement Specialist

Dr. Brian Fuller is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, including complex primary and revision hip and knee reconstructions. He also utilizes robotically-assisted joint replacement techniques. Dr. Fuller graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and was selected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He was then commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and went on to complete his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. His military career continued at Fort Carson, CO, where he provided orthopedic surgical care to the Army’s World Class Athlete Program, 10th Special Forces Group, and 4th Infantry Division. Dr. Fuller was deployed to Afghanistan with the 126th Forward Surgical Team in 2014-2015 and again to Syria with the 274th Forward Surgical Team in 2017. Upon completion of his military service, Dr. Fuller’s surgical training continued with a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at Rush University Medical Center. He was privileged to train under world-renowned surgeons who have pioneered minimally invasive techniques, partial knee replacement, outpatient surgery, and complex revision arthroplasty at one of the 5 best orthopedic hospitals in the United States. Additionally, he was selected for the 2019 Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellowship and spent several weeks in Great Britain learning from European experts in arthroplasty. Dr. Fuller enjoys spending time with his wife, Tasha, and sons, Warren & Waylon.

Keith Heier, MD

Ankle Replacement Specialist

Dr. Heier is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery and reconstruction of the foot and ankle due to trauma and sports-related injuries. He performs complex reconstructions, including fusions, total ankle replacements, and arthroscopy. Dr. Heier is one of few surgeons across the country board certified in orthopedic surgery, fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery, and subspecialty certified in sports medicine. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Heier received his medical degree at the University of Florida, where he ranked third in his class. He completed his surgical residency at Baylor College of Medicine and received his fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, under the direction of top orthopedic foot and ankle trauma doctors Roy Sanders and Arthur Walling.  Dr. Heier serves as a consultant for Small Bone Innovations, Inc., teaching orthopedic surgeons how to successfully perform surgical replacements with their STAR™ ankle,” the only 3-piece mobile bearing total ankle available in the United States. From 1995 to 2005, he consulted for the Agility™ ankle, which was the first commonly used prosthesis. Dr. Heier also has extensive experience using the Salto Talaris™ ankle, by Tornier, in total ankle replacement surgeries.

Donald Hohman, M.D.

Hip & Knee Replacement Specialist

Dr. Donald W. Hohman Jr.Donald W. Hohman Jr., M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon (Brigham and Women's hospital of the Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA) in private practice specializing in total joint replacement and adult reconstructive procedures of the hip and knee. Dr. Hohman specializes in minimally invasive muscle-sparing techniques for the primary surgical care of hip and knee arthritis. 

Dr. Hohman completed his orthopedic surgical training at the State University of New York at Buffalo and served as the administrative chief resident in his final year of residency training. He completed his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Arthroplasty at the Brigham and Women's hospital where he worked as an associate orthopedic surgeon before joining the joint replacement program at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery. 

L.D. Jennings, M.D.

Knee Replacement Specialist

Dr. L.D. JenningsDr. Jennings earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1981 and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1986.

He was selected as a fellow in sports medicine and knee surgery at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Jennings began his practice in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in 1987 in Plano and Carrollton, Texas.

Dr. Jennings specializes in knee and shoulder surgery, as well as sports medicine and general trauma. He is president and founder of the Texas Knee and Sports Medicine Center in Carrollton, Texas. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Richard Reitman, MD

Hip, Knee and Shoulder Replacement Specialist

Richard Reitman, MDDr. Richard Reitman is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery.  Dr. Reitman performs hip, knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle replacement surgery as well as hip and knee revision surgery. 

Dr. Reitman earned his medical degree from Wayne State in Michigan and attended Harvard for his orthopedic training.  He then completed his fellowship in joint replacement surgery at Brigham and Women's at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  

Conner Ryan, MD

Hip & Knee Replacement Specialist

 J. Conner Ryan, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements on the team at Texas Orthopaedic Associates. He sees patients at the Plano and Dallas, Texas, offices.

A Dallas native, Dr. Ryan attended The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and received his B.A. in History before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Ryan continued his education in San Antonio, where he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, receiving a well-rounded education in musculoskeletal care. Finally, he completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he had the opportunity to train with leaders in the field of hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Ryan has given several presentations and has been published for research in his field. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and Texas Medical Association.

Mary Anne Browne, R.N.

Total Joint Replacement Program Coordinator

Mary Anne BrowneMary Anne Browne, R.N., is the coordinator of the Joint Replacement Program at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery. Ms. Browne has over 25 years nursing experience, much of it in surgical services.  At the hospital, she advocates for those needing joint replacement surgery, educating them and their families before, during and after their procedure.
